what is hypnosis?
Hypnosis
is a state of consciousness that is different from one's normal
state of mind It's a learning process that in time can lead to a
very deep, relaxed state where information that is not normal/v
accessed can be accessed in a safe, respectful manner.
Well, I don't
want somebody messing around with my mind. I want to be in control
all the time. Wouldn't I be turning my mind over to you?
No, quite
the contrary. You are actually more in control while in hypnosis
then when you are not. Your subconscious is much newer respectful,
accessed in hypnosis, than your normal state of mind which is called
your conscious mind. Your subconscious would never agree to anything
you feel is wrong because your sense of values originates in your
subconscious mind.
Isn't this
dangerous? Can't I get stuck in hypnosis?
No, the worst
thing that can happen while in hypnosis is that you could fall asleep
and then you would awaken normally, feeling refreshed and renewed
from the experience.
Q: Can anyone
go into hypnosis?
Yes, everyone
can go into hypnosis, although some people can go much deeper than
others can. That isn't really important, however, since your motivation
to accomplish your goal is more important that the level of depth
of your hypnosis.

How long will it last?
Your ability
to perform self-hypnosis is like riding a bicycle. You will have
it the rest of your life.

my group would like to know more about all this. Will you come to

Q: What is
the difference between hypnosis and self-hypnosis?
Technically,
"all" hypnosis is Self-Hypnosis.
